报告摘要：In this talk, we will investigate tensor factorizations of irreducible complex characters of an arbitrary finite group, and establish a unique factorization theorem for a certain family of irreducible characters by introducing prime characters and primary characters. Our results generalize the corresponding theorems of Brauer for projective representations and of Ferguson and Turull for quasi-primitive characters.

靳平，山西大学教授，博士生导师，从事有限群及其表示论的研究。主要研究兴趣包括群的上同调理论、自同构群、群表示的辛结构及张量积分解、可解群的特征标理论；主要成果发表在Advances in Mathematics和Journal of Algebra等国际著名期刊上。主持和参加多项国家自然科学基金。
