报告题目：On a generalized SOR-like method for solving absolute value equations

报告摘要：Dong et al. recently proposed a new SOR-like (NSOR) method for solving the absolute value equation. In this paper, we further present a generalized SOR-like (GSOR) method by introducing a preconditioning matrix and using a parameter matrix instead of a single parameter. Its convergence is established and the associated quasi-optimal parameters are determined. In particular, based on the assumption on unique solvability of the absolute value equation,   we give a good choice of the preconditioning matrix. Numerical tests verify that the GSOR method is more effective than the NSOR method.

简介：彭小飞，博士，教授，2008年12月毕业于华南师范大学获数学专业博士学位，2009年3月至2011年5月在中南大学从事博士后研究工作，2014年2月至2015年2月为美国北卡州立大学数学系访问学者，现为华南师范大学数学科学学院副院长、广东省计算数学理事会理事。主要研究方向：数值代数及其应用、学科教学（数学），在国内外重要学术刊物 《BIT Numerical Mathematics》、《Numerical Linear Algebra with Applications》、《Applied Numerical Mathematics》等期刊发表论文30多篇，主持并完成国家自然科学基金项目2项，主持广东省自然科学基金项目2项。2013年3月，被佛山市妇联授予“2012年度佛山市三八红旗手”称号，2019年11月，获评华南师范大学第六届“我最喜爱的教师”。
