报告题目：Spectral extrema of graphs with a given size and a forbidden subgraph

报告摘要： The spectral radius of a graph is the largest eigenvalue of the adjacency matrix of the graph. A graph is said to forbid a given subgraph if the graph does not contain the given subgraph as a subgraph. In this talk we will present some results on the spectral extrema of graphs with a given size and a forbidden subgraph, such as a clique, a cycle, a theta graph, a book graph, a friendship graph, a fan graph, and a wheel graph, etc.

报告人简介：李学良教授1991年获荷兰屯特大学(University of Twente)博士学位，现任南开大学教授、博士生导师、组合数学中心副主任。曾获教育部跨世纪优秀人才，国务院政府特殊津贴专家，教育部“组合数学创新团队”负责人等称号，曾任中国组合数学与图论学会理事长。现担任DiscreteApplied Mathematics》《Journal of Mathematical Chemistry》《应用数学学报(中、英文版)》等10余种国际杂志编委。数十次应邀去美、德、加、荷、英、日等国家和地区大学和研究所进行合作研究和学术交流。主要从事图论与组合优化、化学图论、计算机科学理论方面的研究和教学工作。在本领域多种国际主流传统学术期刊J. Comb. Theory Ser. B，SIAM J. Discrete Math., Siam J. Computing, J. Graph Theory, Adv. Appl. Math., IEEE Trans. Inform. Theory等杂志上发表论文300余篇。在Springer等国际出版社出版著作10多部，在高教出版社出版译著2部。主持承担国家自然科学基金重点项目3项、国家自然科学基金面上项目10余项，并承担过“973”项目2项。培养博士后12人、博士生82人、硕士生38人。培养的毕业生中有获得教育部高层次人才特聘教授、中组部万人计划领军人才、全国教学名师、基金委优青人才等称号者，还有数十人获得省部级各类高端人才称号。
