摘要：In this talk, I shall give a short survey to our results concerning the global weak solutions to a variational wave system, which describes the motion of liquid crystals.
专家简介:
张平研究员为中科院数学与系统科学研究院数学所研究员、博士生导师。南京大学获博士学位（1997年7月）。中科院数学所博士后（1997-1998）、助理研究员（1999-2000）、副研究员（2001-2002）、研究员（2003-）。曾访问美国Courant 研究所、 Indiana大学Bloomington分校、香港中文大学数学研究所、Vienna大学Schrödinger研究所、 Penn. State大学、University of Texas at Austin、法国 Ecole Polytechnique, Laurent Schwartz 数学中心、Standford 大学，法国巴黎第六大学，捷克科学院等。曾获国家杰出青年基金（2005），入选新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选（2006），第十届中国青年科技奖（2007）, 2011年国家自然科学二等奖。主要研究微局部分析和非线性偏微分方程。
