报告摘要：In this talk, we will discuss recent progress on explicit and computable error bounds for the asymptotic expansions of the orthogonal polynomials. We also apply the new branch cut technique to derive simple error bounds in terms of elementary functions.

 

报告人简介： 林郁，华南理工大学副教授，主要研究领域为渐近分析方法，正交多项式系统等，中山大学与香港城市大学联合培养博士。主持国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金等多项科研项目，在 Journal of Approximation Theory, Nonlinearity, Analysis and Applications 等高水平期刊发表学术论文10余篇。2017年获第三届全国高校数学微课程教学设计竞赛华南赛区一等奖。2018年获全国高校青年教师教学竞赛理科组三等奖、广东省第四届高校青年教师教学大赛（理科组）第一名。2019年获广东省五一劳动奖章。
