报告摘要：The problem of classifying exact factorizations of almost simple groups was initiated around 1980 by the work of Feit (1979), Wiegold-Williamson (1980), Gorenstein (1982) and Kantor (1982), and significantly progressed by Liebeck, Praeger and Saxl in 2010. In this talk I will report recent work with Cai Heng Li and Lei Wang on the complete solution to this problem. To achieve this classification, we describe the factors, up to a soluble quotient, of a general factorization of almost simple group. These results have applications on Hopf algebras and Cayley graphs.

报告人简介：夏彬绉，2009年本科毕业于浙江大学，2014年获得北京大学博士学位。2014-2016年于北京国际数学研究中心从事博士后研究，2016-2017年西澳大利亚大学Research Associate，2017年起任职于墨尔本大学，国际组合数学与应用学会(ICA)2017年Kirkman奖获得者。主要研究代数图论、组合学与置换群论，在Memoirs of The American Mathematical Society、Israel Journal of Mathematics、The Journal of the London Mathematical Society、Mathematics of Computation、Journal of Combinatorial Theory. Series A、Journal of Combinatorial Theory. Series B、Journal of Algebra等国际著名期刊上发表科研论文40余篇。
